Activity 3- Lets check your Memory !

Lets do an Activity- Try to memorize a list of 10 objects in the same sequence ,without writing it anywhere.

1) BOOK

2) SWIMMING POOL

3) RABBIT

4) MANGOES

5) YELLOW BIRD

6) RED HAT

7) WHITE HORSE

8) SNOW WHITE

9) LAPTOP

10) SLEEPING

If you succeed in that ,then it is great! Your Memory is Amazing!

But if not,there is a trick to remember all the words in the given sequence-

We will use MEMORY ASSOCIATION,in this you have to imagine and have to create a story -

Just like for the above given words ,story can be :-

You are reading a BOOK while sitting near a SWIMMING POOL.Then,there a RABBIT comes.He saw MANGOES under the tree and he started running towards it.A YELLOW BIRD was sitting on the tree.Now you started reading the book and in that book.you are reading a story,where once upon a time a prince was wearing a RED HAT and was riding a WHITE HORSE and was searching for SNOW WHITE and then the prince saw snow white was working on LAPTOP and his little brother was SLEEPING next to him.

So,with the help of this story, we tried to link all the objects to one another,forming a chain,it is also called Chain Method or Story Method.

BOOK ----> SWIMMING POOL---.>RABBIT--->.MANGOES---.>YELLOW BIRD--->RED HAT--->WHITE HORSE --->SNOW WHITE--->LAPTOP---->SLEEPING
